<p>A short time ago, the Israeli Air Force successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target that was identified in an area where IDF forces are operating in southern Lebanon.</p><p>The target did not cross into Israeli territory. According to policy, no alerts were activated.</p>

<p>It has been cleared for publication that Sergeant Idan Fooks, 19, from Petah Tikva, a soldier in Battalion 77, was killed in combat in southern Lebanon. Six additional soldiers were wounded-four of them seriously.</p>
